WOMBWELL resident W Auckland has submitted a photograph of himself and a group of friends on holiday in Blackpool 1957/58.
It was taken outside the boarding house they were staying in at Albert Road where they got full board for £7 a week.
All the lads lived in the same street in Wombwell and they are: back row, Cyril Hardcastle, Cliff Taylor, Graham Moreby, Jack Hall, Derek ( Chocker) Reeves, Norman Dyson and Mick Moreby.
Front row: Derek Brookes, James Fleming, Maurice Button, Don Moreby, Harry Moore, J Auckland, Fran Fleming, Malcolm Chipchase.
Mr Auckland said he believed the boarding house was named Saxon House.
