PARENTS in Darfield will face a stark warning when they pick their children up from school - think before you park.
The message will appear on a poster designed by Darfield All Saints' pupil, Georgina Arnold, 10, in an effort to help the police tackle problem parking and congestion outside the school.
The poster was one of eight entered into a competition organised by Wombwell Safer Neighbourhood team following concerns by residents near the school.
Sergeant Phil Jenkins, said: "It seems to have worked quite well up there.
"The safety issues that arose from problem parking was highlighted at several meetings so it became one of our priorities.
"We thought what better way to get the message across to parents then letting the pupils give their views - so we came up with the poster idea.
"The message seems to have sunk in quite quickly."
