A streamlined coach was a big attraction for a group of bus enthusiasts from Barnsley when they visited the Foden Works at Sandbach around 1949.
Malcolm Cawthorne, who submitted the photograph, told us: "The coach was a prototype and was creating a great deal of interest at the Foden Works. We enjoyed our trip there."
The group included local area coach operators and their employees.
Colin Pursley, who worked for Mr Cawthorne's grandfather who ran the former W & A Cawthorne bus company, came across the photograph recently.
The men have been named as: left to right: Colin Pursley, Foden representative, Maurice Ives, Harry Cawthorne (Malcolm Cawthorne's dad), Brian Ramsden, Donald Fearn, Bob Varley, Eric Bostwick, Sid Wilson, Doug Womersley, Lewis Panks, Malcolm Cawthorne, Jack Hall, Herman Horn, Foden rep, Wilf Waring, two Foden reps.
