THE mother of a Brampton teenager who died hours after celebrating her 18th birthday has spoken of her heartbreak.
Amy Louise Houghton, who had a five-month-old son, was staying with her boyfriend at her grandma's house in Wath when she collapsed early on Sunday.
She was rushed to Barnsley Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 3.10am. The cause is still unknown.
Her mum, Julie, of Melton Avenue, Brampton, told the Chronicle she couldn't believe her grandson, Joshua, would grow up without knowing his mum.
