ABOUT 400 people attended a private viewing of A Personal Collection of Vivienne Westwood Shoes – many wearing the designer’s clothes.
Fans from across the north attended the exhibition’s launch at The Civic on Wednesday, including a group who works at the Vivienne Westwood shop in Leeds. The shoes, some dating back to the 1970s when Westwood ran the Sex Boutique with the late Malcolm McLaren, belong to a private collector. The exhibition is open daily and runs until Saturday, July 17.
