MASKED robbers have beaten up two men in their homes in separate incidents this week.
Athersley granddad George Robinson, 59, was tied up, robbed and beaten with an iron bar in his home on Sunday afternoon while his wife was tied up in the next room.
And on Saturday night, Alan Wardle, 57, of Victoria Crescent, Barnsley was thrown down stairs by intruders who then jumped on him and stamped on his head.
Police say the incidents are not linked.
