BARNSLEY girls are wanted to take part in a beauty contest that could win them a place in the Miss England final.
The organisers of Miss South Yorkshire are looking for a 17 to 24-year-old to represent the county in the national contest.
"It is not just about a pretty face, the winner will need to shine in personality as well as showing dedication and passion to worthwhile causes," said a spokesman.
Auditions, by appointment only for Miss South Yorkshire will be held at the Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield on Saturday, February 26.
Closing date for entries is February 19.
