Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Adlington visited Barnsley to encourage children to get into sport.
She was at Dearne ALC on Wednesday and had a tour of the new building and gave a swimming lesson in the neighbouring pool.
Rebecca said she was keeping an eye out for future Olympic swimmers.
“They all seem really enthusiastic about it. It is so good to come along and talk about sport but also to see them swimming. I do hope that I can pass wisdom on something that I am actually good at.”
