Barnsley are hoping some of their injured players will recover during a rare week off from the hectic Championship season.
Due to the international matches, the Reds have no game until April 2 when they face Crystal Palace away.
Defender Paul McShane – on loan at Oakwell from Hull City – may be fit for the trip to Selhurst Park despite initial fears that a hamstring tear would rule him out for six to eight weeks.
Stephen Foster could also travel to London if he continues his recovering from the thigh problem that has ruled him out of the last seven games.
Bobby Hassell, Jacob Mellis, David Preece and Danny Haynes are also hoping to return to full fitness this week.
