Pint-sized Aidan Cooper's only problem is finding kit to fit.
The seven-year-old made his debut as the youngest player for Stainborough Cricket Club under 11s against Silkstone.
The Holy Rood primary pupil had been going to watch his dad play for the seniors for two years and decided he was ready to have a go.
"He was a foot-and-a-half shorter than any of the others but he was fantastic," said dad Jim, 33.
