Detectives investigating a suspected murder in Goldthorpe have made three arrests.
The force's major incident team, based at Manvers, is leading the investigation launched after a woman's body was found in a purple Ford Fiesta.
The vehicle was parked on Doncaster Road near the junction with the Dearne Valley Parkway in Goldthorpe. It was found at lunchtime on Saturday.
Two men, a 63-year-old from Doncaster and a 32-year-old were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday. The younger man was released without charge but the 22-year-old is still in custody.
A boy, 16, from Doncaster was arrested on Sunday evening over suspected involvement in the murder. He is being questioned by detectives.
