Judo is experience a resurgence in Barnsley and the town's club has seen membership grow by 300 per cent this year.

 

Barnsley Judo Club, set up only three years ago, has seen many successes in recent months.

 

Steve Gawthorpe, who represented Great Britain in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, regularly attends sessions at Holgate school to help out.
