A TOWN centre nursery which cares for more than 100 children has been rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.
Little Roos, based at McLintock’s on Summer Lane, was the subject of an inspection by Ofsted on March 19.
It received a ‘good’ rating in each of the inspector’s categories.
A report states: “Children enjoy attending this family focused and caring nursery.
“Leaders and staff aim to promote children’s good health and wellbeing.
“For instance, leaders are working to support parents and carers to provide healthy food and drinks in children’s lunch boxes.
“Staff ensure that children receive daily opportunities to play outside and be active.
“They demonstrate good manners to children.
“Staff sensitively support children to understand waiting for their turn and sharing.
“Children happily play together.
“They build strong relationships with their peers and behave positively towards each other.”
