Taxi drivers have condemned a police decision not to prosecute a man who attacked a cabbie leaving him with a broken nose and a black eye.
Andy Pilkington was elbowed in the face by a man he picked up in a town centre rank on Saturday night but his attacker has been let off with a police caution.
In an interview for this week's Chronicle Andy, 44, of Genn Lane, Ward Green, said: "I have got a big black eye and I am traumatised. He gets away with a caution. It’s outrageous."
