ELSECAR won at Wath in the quarter-final of the Whitworth Cup on Sunday.
Elsecar made 159, with Peter Hadfield carrying his bat on 48 not out while Wath’s Alex Roebuck took three wickets.
Wath were then restricted to 83.
Elsecar had won by 88 runs at Treeton in the South Yorkshire Championship.
They were 105 for seven but number nine Kieran Higgins made 61.
There were four wickets each for Lalith Mohan and Haider Jahangir.
Rockingham lost by two wickets at home to Sprotbrough after posting 128. The visitors were 98 for eight before a 30-run stand for the ninth wicket.
Wath fell 96 runs short chasing 238 at Ackworth.
The hosts were 21 for three and 117 for six, with Jay Smith taking five wickets.
Samuel Bowden scored 51.
