A BARNSLEY police officer accused of sexual harassment towards two female colleagues will face a misconduct hearing on Monday.
PC Sam Clee, a response officer based in the town centre, is alleged to have committed a number of offences between April 2023 and June 2023.
A report states that PC Clee made comments to two female colleagues that were inappropriate or amounted to sexual harassment.
It also alleges he drove a police vehicle in excess of the speed limit, used blue lights or a police siren without the appropriate permit.
And on three occasions in June 2023, he was supposed to be working on a learning study day but instead worked a night shift - resulting in an enhanced overtime payment being paid by the force.
“This is a breach of the standards of professional behaviour in respect of discreditable conduct, authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity, fitness for duty, orders and instructions and honesty and integrity,” it added.
“The matters set out above are a breach of the standards which are so serious as to justify dismissal and therefore constitutes gross misconduct.”
