PAUL Cummins made 102 in Rockingham’s five-run home win over Oughtibridge in the South Yorkshire Championship.
Cummins hit 11 fours in Rock’s 203 for five then took a wicket off the last ball with the visitors needing a six to win. Lasith Lakshan took four wickets and Nasser Rasool three.
Elsecar won by 12 runs at leaders Doncaster Town 2nd XI. Musa Altaf took four wickets and Joe Denby three to remove the hosts for 122.
Elsecar then lost their Whitworth Cup semi-final at Treeton by five wickets.
Tanzeel Ali made 50 off 38 balls in Elsecar’s 187.
Wath were bowled out for 59 chasing 260 at home to Sprotbrough.
Alex Roebuck took four wickets.
