A TRIAL date has been set for a man who is accused of murder.
Alan Sutton, 41, was found by emergency services on September 1 on Burton Road, Monk Bretton, with suspected stab wounds to the chest.
Callum Strachan, 21, of Burton Road, was arrested and charged with one count of murder and two counts of possessing bladed articles.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges and will appear for trial at Sheffield Crown Court on February 2, 2026.
It has been scheduled to last for three weeks.
