HOYLANDSWAINE won the Barnsley Sunday League Division One title after centuries by Callum Honeyman and Chris Holliday.

Honeyman carried his bat with 139 not out off 106 balls including 17 fours while Holliday hammered 119 not out off 46 balls with 16 fours and seven sixes. Liam Hyde added 78 as Swaine made 384 then removed Conisbrough for 138 with three wickets each for Honeyman and Josh Holmes

With a game to play, Swaine are 28 points clear in first place.

Thurgoland chased 160 for an eight-wicket win at home to leaders Division Three West leaders Bradfield. Toby Burton and Seb Carter took four wickets each then David Sedgwick hit five sixes in his 60 not out.

That left Barnsley Woolley Miners second, three points behind Bradfield – who have played all their games – with three to play. Third-placed Monk Bretton are on the same points as Barnsley but have played an extra game. Barnsley and the Monks face each other on Sunday in a potential title-decider.

Jenson Hayes made 107 off 106 balls with 11 fours and two sixes in Monk Bretton’s 222 at Cawthorne. Jake Richardson and Joshua van Oudtshoorn took four wickets each to bowl the hosts out for 86.

Leaders West Bretton chased 144 for a three-wicket win at Doncaster Town in Division Two.

Matthew Pinder took four wickets and Jack Hubery three.
