THE FOOTBALL coaching company run by former Barnsley FC player and coach Martin Devaney has made a significant investment in a new astroturf pitch at Shaw Lane.
The pitch, known as ‘The Cage’, was officially opened this week.
It will be owned and run by Momentous Football Academy but is available to be booked by members of the public.
Devaney said: “We are delighted to open the brand new pitch.
“This is a place for young players to come and train, learn new skills and have fun.
“We also want this to be a place the Barnsley community can be proud of and come and use the facility.”
