CUDWORTH Library welcomed back visitors this week having undergone a refurbishment.
There’s a larger children’s library, extra shelving for more books and flexible spaces with new meeting tables, soft seating and an acoustic office booth.
Coun Wendy Cain, cabinet spokesperson for public health and communities, said: “We were excited to welcome everyone back to the newly-refurbished Cudworth Library.
“It is a highly valued community hub for people living in the town and we hope visitors to the new-look facilities will enjoy its modern, vibrant look.
“We would like to thank residents for their patience while we carried out works to make the library offer even better than before.
“We are transforming libraries across the borough to provide modern, versatile spaces.
“Whether you’re borrowing books, using the library for studying, or attending one of our exciting events or activities, we hope you’ll enjoy the newly-refurbished space.”
