NORTH Gawber’s two teams were the only Barnsley sides in the County Senior League to avoid their games being called off this week.
Gawber’s first team won 4-2 at Sheffield City in Division One.
Carey Welford hit a hat-trick with Jake Bedford also scoring.
They have won their last five games in all competitions.
Gawber are sixth in the table with 15 points from seven matches.
Gawber’s reserves won 7-6 at Sheffield Medics in Division Two.
James Stoddart scored a hat-trick, William Bedford added two with Joseph Drury and Morgan Sida also finding the target.
