THE LATEST member of the Wale family to take up boxing made his amateur debut this week.

Jack Wale, ten, is the son of former British champion Josh while his grandfather Mick is an award-winning trainer at Micky’s Athletic and his uncles Dempsey and Gwyn have also been professional boxers. Jack, whose brother Mikey has already made his boxing debut, took part in a skills bout against Hughie Steele of Lion’s Den.

Other Micky’s fighters were Charlie Chambers, Michael McFonagh, Rosie Christy and Tom Staniforth.
