MARC Roberts looks set to return to the Barnsley squad for their trip to Reading on Saturday while top-scorer Davis Keillor-Dunn is over the illness which kept him out of the win over Blackpool.

That is according to Reds head coach Conor Hourihane who is pleased to have two of his more experienced players back in contention for the weekend.

Centre-back Roberts has not featured since coming off with an Achilles issue in the home game with Lincoln on December 29.

He was on the bench at Liverpool in the FA Cup last week but not involved against Blackpool in the league on Saturday.

Hourihane said: “Robbo will be fine.

“He’s trained the last couple of days which is positive.

“He has no issues.

“We just have to look after him in terms of not having a recurrence.

Hourihane said: “There is no problem whatsoever. It was unfortunate timing him being sick on Friday and letting us know on Saturday.
