BARNSLEY left it late to draw against Wimbledon after squandering a two goal lead in a 3-3 draw.

Omar Bugiel scored twice in three minutes in the first half to cancel out David McGoldrick and Tom Bradshaw's goals, before Marcus Browne thought he’d won it late on, only for Scott Banks to equalise.

Head coach Conor Hourihane made two changes to the side that lost 3-2 at Bolton last time out.

Both Eoghan O'Connell and Jonathan Bland drop to the bench and were replaced by Marc Roberts and Patrick Kelly.

Young Charlie Lennon replaced Vimal Yoganathan on the Barnsley bench.

Barnsley started the game well and got the opener ten minutes in through McGoldrick.

It was a piece of magic from Reyes Cleary on the left as he took it past two Wimbledon defenders before laying it on a plate for the veteran striker to score his eighth league goal of the season.

And it took the Reds just four minutes to double their lead.

It was some more great work by Cleary who took on his man and played it straight to Bradshaw who made no mistake to score his first goal at Oakwell for the Reds since a winner against Sheffield United on April 7 2018 - 2,870 days ago.

It was Cleary's tenth assist in the league this season and he was electric in the opening quarter of this game.

But the Dons came back into it as Bugiel scored his first goal since October to halve the deficit.

And it only took him two minutes to score his next goal as he headed in a James Tilley cross to level the scores.

Scott Banks hit the crossbar with an attempted cross but the Reds went into the break all square.

The Reds came to retaking the lead on the hour mark after Adam Phillips lashed the ball across the six-yard area but a Wimbledon defender did incredibly well to clear the danger.

McGoldrick then came close after some good work from Banks but his effort was deflected into the side netting.

The Reds continued to put pressure on the Dons’ defence and it was Luca Connell who next came close for Barnsley but his long-range strike went just past the post.

But despite the pressure it was Browne who gave his side the lead in the 74th minute, tapping the ball home to send the away end wild.

But Banks levelled in the 87th minute, firing home from close range to rescue a point for the Reds.
