A NEW mural celebrating Barnsley FC’s history has been officially unveiled at Oakwell.

Ben Mosley, who has previously worked with his beloved Barnsley FC and followed Team GB at the last Olympics, completed the mural over a three-day period.

The new work in the club’s ATR 1887 hospitality space adds to his already-impressive work located throughout the ground - including the powerful pieces displayed in the boardroom and the stunning 60‑metre mural that lines the Ponty End concourse.

Head coach Conor Hourihane stopped by to see the piece take shape, offering his support and admiration, while first‑team players Jonathan Bland and Vimal Yoganathan also visited, meeting the artist and gaining an up‑close look at his creative process.

Ben said: “Oakwell is a place with incredible history and passion.

“It’s always an honour to contribute to the visual identity of Barnsley FC and create something that supporters can connect with.

“This new mural celebrates the spirit of the club, and I hope fans will enjoy it for many years to come.”
