BERNESLAI Homes staff have joined Barnsley Hospice’s accumulator challenge to raise money for the charity throughout March.

As part of the challenge businesses get a £30 loan to develop a creative, fundraising idea to grow that money into as much as possible.

Colleagues at Berneslai Homes are selling creative lino prints at pop-up shops across their offices, with a range of designs on offer and every penny raised going to help Barnsley Hospice to deliver specialist palliative and end-of-life care.

From a festive Christmas quiz to sponsored walks and donations from partner organisations, as Berneslai Homes’ chosen charity for 2025/26, colleagues have already delivered various activities to fundraise for Barnsley Hospice.

Amanda Garrard, Berneslai Homes’ chief executive, said: “It’s great to see colleagues using their creativity to support a good cause.

“Getting involved in the challenge is a brilliant way to round off a great year of fundraising.

“We’ve already sold a range of prints, and the pop-up shops inspire colleagues to reflect on the essential palliative and end of life care services Barnsley Hospice provides.”

Simon Atkinson, corporate partnership manager at Barnsley Hospice, added: “We are thrilled that Berneslai Homes have joined in the fun of our popular accumulator challenge.
