BARNSLEY Hockey Club's women just missed out promotion from YNE Peak Division One.
They drew 2-2 at champions Sheffield University Bankers 3rd XI in their final game of the season.
That meant they slipped down from second to fourth, a point off second which is the lowest promotion place.
Joanne Hughes and Daley Mumby scored.
Barnsley’s men, who have already won Peak and Wold Division Two, are due to host Sheffield University Bankers 5th XI on Saturday in their final game.
