ATHERSLEY Rec are safe from relegation in Division One.
Rec lost 4-1 at Armthorpe on Saturday, with Nathaneal Dyer scoring their goal. But other results meant they are six points clear of the two-team relegation zone with one match to play.
Worsbrough Bridge won 1-0 on Saturday at home to Route One Rovers who could have still reached the play-offs. Keelan Grist scored just before half-time.
The third-placed Briggers finish their league season with games on Saturday and Tuesday before a play-off semi-final and potentially final, while they are also due to face Worksop Town in the Sheffield Senior Cup final at Doncaster Rovers’ ground on April 28.
Teams who finish second or third will play at home in the one-legged play-off semi-finals and the highest-placed team left will host the final. The semi-finals are on April 18 with the final a week later.
