BERNESLAI Homes’ staff have raised more than £8,400 for Barnsley Hospice over the past year through a series of fundraising activities.
Their efforts, which totalled £8,432, included a wide range of activities such as sponsored walks, raffles, creative challenges and community events.
All the money they’ve raised goes to supporting Barnsley Hospice to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care across the borough.
Simon Atkinson, corporate partnership manager at the hospice, said: “The outstanding care we provide at the hospice to local people and their families is only possible thanks to such wonderful support from our amazing corporate partners and Berneslai Homes are nothing short of fantastic in helping us deliver our services.
“We are absolutely thrilled to once again have been chosen as their charity of the year, and we can’t wait to see what they get up to once again to fundraise for us.
“Their generosity and commitment to Barnsley Hospice is hugely appreciated.”
