BARNSLEY man Calvin Betton missed out on a third grand slam title as coach of Henry Patten who was beaten in the French Open men’s doubles final.

Patten and Harri Heliovaara, the second seeds, lost in straight sets to number one seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.

Calvin coaches Patten, who has previously won Wimbledon and the Australian Open, as well as Luke Johnson who reached the semi-final of the men’s doubles in Melbourne this year.

This year’s Wimbledon is set to start on June 29.
