A PROUD of Barnsley award winner has launched a new programme to support youngsters across the borough.
Craig Jenkinson, founder of Elev8 Journeys, has created the programme which will be rolled out in schools, youth centres and community centres.
‘Little Timmy - The Young Champions Journey’ is being supported by the council’s Great Childhoods Ambition and will be open for up to 120 youngsters across Barnsley.
Free introductory sessions will be held at BODY Carnegie Centre on August 3 to 7 and August 10 to 14.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
Craig said: “I created Little Timmy: The Young Champions Journey because I’ve seen how quickly confidence can drop when a child doesn’t have emotional tools.
“When kids don’t understand their feelings, it often comes out as behaviour, avoidance, arguments, or anxiety.
“This programme is designed to change that early - in a way that’s child-friendly, practical, and shame-free.”
