THREE men who supplied crack cocaine and heroin in Barnsley have been jailed for a combined 13 years.
Thomas England, Damian Tynan and James Roberts were all arrested in October 2025 following a number of warrants which were executed across Sheffield.
The warrants followed a comprehensive operation which involved covert policing tactics, collecting intelligence and evidence around drug supply lines distributing crack cocaine and heroin.
Approximately £29,300 worth of crack cocaine and £13,760 worth of heroin were recovered from England’s home.
Evidence suggested those drugs were destined to be sold on the streets of Barnsley that day.
All three men were charged on the same day and were remanded into custody.
England, 31, was sentenced to four years and ten months for two counts of supplying class A drugs and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Tynan, 35, was sentenced to four years and eight months for two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
While 43-year-old Roberts as sentenced to three years and eight months for two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
All three men are from Sheffield.
Detective Sergeant Becky Robinson said: “These are the first sentencings as part of our comprehensive work to tackle drugs supply across Barnsley.
“Drug supply is often linked to organised criminality and causes extreme and lasting harm to our communities.
“It impacts those who simply want to live and work in our town without fear and exposes those most vulnerable in our society to exploitation and violence.
“These three individuals played significant roles in a drug supply line that has blighted our community for far too long.
“Their arrests have helped dismantle that criminal enterprise and prevent a significant amount of drugs from reaching our streets.
“I hope these sentences send a clear message to those involved in drug supply - we will continue to act on information, build intelligence with our communities and deploy every tactic available to us in pursuit of those responsible.
“If you are involved in drug supply, do not assume you are beyond our reach.
“You will be identified, arrested and put behind bars.”
