Barnsley have sold Adam Phillips to fellow League One and Yorkshire neighbours Bradford City for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been one of the Reds’ best players since signing in 2022, scoring 43 goals in 182 games.
He had a year left on his contract, after the Reds triggered an option at the end of last season.
The fee is thought to be six figures with Phillips’ former club Burnley understood to be owed a portion of it due to a sell-on clause.
