FIFTEEN complaints have been made by members of the public about Barnsley’s councillors over the last year.
A council report reveals three relate to the first quarter of the 2026/27 when Reform took control from Labour.
Seven were put down to councillors’ social media posts, while three separate complaints were made by other councillors about their colleagues.
A report, which will be discussed by the council’s standards regulatory board on Thursday, said: “The majority of complaints have been made by members of the public, and their complaints related to local councillors rather than parish councillors.
“With regards to the reasons for complaints, the majority received relate to behaviour, rather than social media content.”
