LIVE in Barnsley rolls into town this weekend with nearly 100 bands playing in 11 venues tomorrow.
Topping the bill will be pop outfit Sour Cherry. The band, based in Sheffield, will headline Walkabout at 9.15pm, but will also be playing an earlier set at The Londoner from 3pm, so that their younger fan base get the chance to see them.
The performance at the Londoner will also be followed by a short question and answer session and signing, after a few acts had dropped out.
After their headline gig, band members will make their way to Rebecca's nightclub to officially launch their debut EP 'Real Life'.
The band's manager Paul Turner said: "This is a massive gig for us. Probably the biggest we've had.
"We were on Britain's Got Talent and got four 'yeses' from the judges but that doesn't compare to this. We much prefer playing live and this is in front of a local audience.
"We're honoured they've asked us to play."
• Members of the comedy band the Bar Stewards of Val Doonican will play on the roof of Blah Bar tomorrow, dressed as Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon, in a throwback to the Beatles playing on an office roof in London.
