A FOUR-week-old feral kitten has already used up one of her lives after being found semi conscious on Cudworth allotments.
Abbey, named after the vets who treated her, was covered in ticks and fleas and suffered from the effects of hunger and the cold.
She was rushed to the vets on Friday after being discovered by Thomas Cook staff who were clearing a derelict plot on Roberts Street.
Abbey wasn’t expected to live but was hand reared with injections of fluid by Anne Warriner from the Cats Protection League. She is thriving in her new home.
