The local neighbourhood watch group in Grimethorpe donated £3,000 to local kids' groups this week.
Ten organisations were each given £300 for their funds at a presentation evening in the WMC on Tuesday evening.
The Neighbourhood Watch donates every year to various causes and has raised £8,000 this year, all of which has gone back into the community.
Groups that will benefit: St John Ambulance; District band; junior football; junior cricket; karate club; Millennium Majorettes; junction project; Pentecostal Church kids club; Methodist Church kids' club; St Luke’s Church kids club.
