A RETIRED ex-pat has arranged his holiday to fit in with the pantomime at the Dearne Playhouse, the first one since its £1 million refurbishment.
Michael Keating even knew which seats he wanted when he booked for Cinderella.
He was fascinated with the theatre when he was a teenager and helped out with the lighting and other jobs, but left the area to train as an electrician and emigrated to Boston, USA in the 1950s.
The theatre tops his list of places to visit on his return trips from Florida to see his sister, Eileen Bedford, of Wombwell.
