A DARFIELD band have released their first track from their debut EP this week.
Local indie rockers Under the Influence have uploaded 'Shake It' to Soundcloud as a taster of the five tracks on new EP Rumbling of a Giant.
"We had the EP produced by local lad Lee Mitchell and it's taken about six months in total.
"We didn't want to rush it, we wanted it to be the best it could be and he's done a great job," lead singer Jamie Marsh said.
Jamie said the band plans to send the EP out internationally to radio stations to try and get as much airtime as possible.
"We will be giving the CD away for free. How can we expect people to pay for it when we aren't properly established yet?
"We are looking at hosting an EP launch event and we will give the CD out there as part of the gig ticket price."
