A DENTIST joked he could cure a nurse's intimate medical condition with his 'magic tongue', a tribunal was told.

Fadi Sukaria, who worked at the now-closed Gateway Dental Centre at Gateway Plaza, allegedly asked his colleague if she had any 'rude' pictures on her phone.

He repeatedly groped his colleague and made sexually explicit comments while they were working, the General Dental Council was told.

When he heard she was suffering from cystitis, Sukaria allegedly said: 'I have a magic tongue to make it better.'

Sukaria also asked if she had ever been raped before stroking her breasts, groping her bottom and biting her arm, the hearing was told.

Saba Naqshbandia, for the GDC, said: 'On November 28 2012 both were working together in the surgery and there was a conversation about going to the gym.

"During this Sukaria stroked her bottom very lightly and said it was 'nice'."The complainant responded by saying: 'Don't ever touch my bum.'

"He stroked her breast saying: 'I will touch these instead.'"

The next day she did not attend work, saying she felt unwell.

Sukaria denied ever touching the nurse or making inappropriate comments in an interview in December 2012.

He said: "I never touched her. I would never crossed the line. She is not my type.  I am not going to sacrifice my reputation. I just joked with them normally."

He also accused the alleged victim of being 'stressed and lazy'.

Sukaria, of Eastgate, Leeds, faces a number of charges including making inappropriate and sexual comments and inappropriately touching a nurse.

If his fitness to practice is found impaired by reason of misconduct he could be struck off the register.
