THE bin collection timetable for the Christmas and New Year period has been released by Barnsley Council.
There will be no collections on Christmas Day or Boxing Day and collections that were due on those days will be moved to Saturday December 27 and Monday December 29 respectively.
For those due to have bins collected on New Year's Day, collections will take place on Saturday January 3.
Clinical waste collections will be moved to December 24, 27 and 31.
Any wrapping paper or Christmas cards which contain foil or are covered in glitter cannot be recycled and should go in the grey bin.
Christmas trees can be recycled at any of the borough's household waste and recycling sites which are open every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
