A BRIDE-TO-BE with terminal cervical cancer has been told the tumour has shrunk thanks to radiotherapy.

Jamie Lea Jepson, 25, will marry her fiancé Gareth Harrison, 31, at Barnsley Town Hall on Friday.

She was told on Tuesday her tumour had shrunk following treatment.

Jamie, of Birkwood Avenue, Cudworth, said: "It's really good news. It's only shrunk a tiny bit but it is better than the tumour growing or staying the same, and it's better than expected.

"It still won't be curable, but it might give me a bit longer to live."
