THREE Barnsley men have been recognised in the New Year's Honours List.
Deputy leader of Barnsley Council and fire authority chief Coun Jim Andrews has been awarded the British Empire Medal.
Colin Booth, principal of Barnsley College has received the OBE.
And former Barnsley Football Club chairman John Dennis has been made MBE.
