ALL the world's a stage for youngsters at Holy Rood School who put on a production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Pupils in year three and four classes put on two shows in front of their proud families to raise funds for the Let the Children Live charity which helps homeless street children in Colombia.
Headteacher John Gregson said the production was 'absolutely amazing'.
"It had so many good points that it is hard to know where to start," he added. "The acting, costumes, singing, narration, stage. production were all superb and there were some children who showed prodigious talent that we never knew they had.
"This in many ways is what is so good about giving children opportunities like this to really shine and discover for perhaps the first time that they really have a special gift for drama or singing."
