THOUSANDS of pounds has flooded in to give hope and inspiration to a terminally ill Barnsley mum.
Alex Cole Swann is desperate to see her two year-old daughter grow up and hopes to raise £250,000 to pay for a pioneering new treatment.
The total so far stands at an incredible £36,000 - with each of the ten sessions she requires coasting £25,000.
Her husband Nathan, a self employed plumber, said: "It's been brilliant, we just can't believe it. People have been sending cash and cheques. Tesco has had a bucket collection, and there's all sorts going on."
Future fund-raising events include a fun day and auction at the Grey Horse, Kensington Road, in Old Town on Sunday May 3. Find out how you could help Alex here.
