A BARNSLEY family believe their much loved pet may have been deliberately poisoned after it was found dead near their home.
Jackson, a four year old black cat, which belongs to Samantha Jackson, 24, was found dead in a garden in Roebuck Street, Wombwell on Friday.
Samantha's mum Michaela Wilkinson who lives around the corner in Hall Street, Wombwell says she thinks he was poisoned.
Michaela said: "Jackson is the second cat we've lost in the last year our ginger cat Oscar died in the same circumstances."
Michaela says she believes that who ever is responsible is putting antifreeze down which the cats are then drinking.
