A SCIENCE-MAD nine-year-old with leukaemia helped raise more than £1,500 for research and wants to carry on fund-raising until the illness 'can be cured with an injection.'
Harrison Worton inspired his school to host a fun day and five-mile sponsored walk from Elsecar Heritage Centre. The events raised £1,500 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Harrison was diagnosed In January and now faces a gruelling eight-year cycle of treatment and tests.
Harrison, of Locksley Gardens, Birdwell, wants to be an architect. He loves maths, science and art and is known at his school Tankersley St Peter's for his wacky science experiments with 'magic sand'.
