AN under-fire bus provider has promised to make major improvements to boost the punctuality of its services in Shafton.
Tates Travel told the Chronicle that it has recently undergone a management change and called for passengers in the village to be patient while they work 'tirelessly' to improve its 34 and 34A services.
A spokesman said: "We are aware of the problems that we are facing and are working tirelessly to rectify this by looking at a plan of continued improvement to our services.
"We have recently undergone a major management change and we would ask our customers to bear with us during this period. There will a major and sustained improvement over the coming weeks and months."
