ONE of Barnsley's oldest clubs has closed its doors.
Harborough Hill Working Men's Club closed just a week after a meeting of members agreed they could no longer keep the cash strapped concern going.
As membership has declined and drinking habits changed, the club in Vernon Street, struggled to attract sufficient drinkers through the door.
Harborough Hill WMC had been open for more than 50 years, but it has now become one more of the many WMCs in the region to close.
